What is Teams?
Sharing Files
Teams allow its users to share documents in the Cloud via 2 major features : Teams and Channel.
Teams: it’s a group of Channels, usually created for a specific Project or Team
Channel: Sub-folder to a Teams, it’s usually used to have a clearer view with a general group chat and dedicated folders.
Access to documents
The Teams application also allows you to directly open Word, Excel or Powerpoint files from it into the correct application.
This being said, with the help of a synchronization, all files can be available in both your laptop and the Cloud.
Social features
Finally, Teams also offers a chat feature. You can create private discussion or chat-group and also discuss inside a channel for general communication.
