Teams allows to retrieve a file deleted. Here is how.
Recover a delete file in Teams
- From the desktop Teams app, select the Channel in which you have deleted the file.
- Click on Files.
- In the ribbon, click on Open in Sharepoint.
- You will be redirected to the WebApp and you’ll see the same files and folder than in the Teams desktop app.

On the left panel, select Recycle Bin

Then, select the wanted file or folder and click on Restore
